The glaciated peak of Weißseespitze Mt (3,518 m), the symbol of the valley, is already visible from far off when driving into the Tyrolean Kaunertal Valley!

Whether in summer or winter, the mighty hilltop of this gigantic mountain is covered the entire year in snow and ice. It is like a shimmering wall which cordons off the Kaunertal Valley to the south.

It is very easy to drive a car to the cable car and lifts at 2,750 m elevation, right beside the Glacier Restaurant. Everything is possible here with a ski ticket: snowboarding, skiing, carving, racing, sun worshipping…

The entire high glacier ski area is can be reached with the 9 lifts. There are no waiting lines, and there is something included for everyone there with 36 km of slopes! Whether it is a black, red or blue trail - everyone – even the families can get a real workout.
