Kaunertaler Glacier Road

There’s no doubt that the Kaunertal glacier road is inherently a highly impressive affair. It winds its way from the village of Feichten in the Kaunertal at 1,273 metres above sea level right up to the edge of the ‘eternal ice’ at an altitude of 2,750 metres. In the course of its 26 kilometres it features a total of 29 bends and an altitude difference of almost 1,500 m.
