Here are a couple of hiking tips which are especially ideal for families with children:

Hike from Fendels up to the Sattelklause

Hike up to the sledding trail which cuts through some forest areas (particularly pleasant on hot summer days). At your destination, you will find the Restaurant Sattelklause with good regional cooking, a sun terrace and playground: duration approx. 1.5 hrs.

Hike to the Fendleralm

Hike from the Sattelklause to the Fendleralm (mountain hut restaurant) on a wide, gravel forest trail: duration approx. ½ hr.
